My name is Ty
Turkett and I am a longtime resident of Bowie, Texas. I graduated from
Bowie ISD in 1986. I played football and baseball all through high
school and received an associates degree in criminology from
Weatherford. To get through college, I worked for a builder in the Fort
Worth and Weatherford area.
I realized
that I enjoyed building and the proud accomplishment I received, so I
took it forward. My business has grown from remodeling in the
prestigious Medford, CT area and then in the Fort Worth area (by TCU),
Weatherford, TX for the Worthingtons (Weatherford National Bank) to my
home town, Bowie. I have lived in Bowie now for 8 years and I have been
building homes for 14 years.
Not only
do I build homes, but I have the knowledge and experience of doing the
actual work of each phase of construction. The Turkett Custom Homes
family is grateful for the opportunities and relationships it has been
so blessed to receive.
My wife,
Karen, children (Dylan and Emily) and I are active members of Bible
Baptist Church, and the Bowie community. I am
truly home in Bowie. I admire the people in this community and I am
honored for the opportunity to serve them.
